The Red Room - San Francisco (Spotlight Lounge)

Everything in the cocktail bar is cherry, crimson and carmine. The room is small, dark with a couple of maroon leather couches. All the bar stools are backless surrounding a red semi-circular bar. The vibe in this lounge is young and hip.

An all-red bar has the potential to be a one-time affair, but the decor is actually pretty cool--varied by a plethora of textures, like golf ball-like dimpled walls and drapes behind the bar. Packed on weekends and pretty tight most other nights, it's worth the squeeze just to join the lively crowd. Tangy, well-poured cosmopolitans are the drink of choice
