The Mission - San Francisco

There are two premier neighborhoods in America one is Greenwhich Village in New York City, the other is The Mission. In the Mission there are great restaurants and clubs. On a travellers note, it's also home to Mission Dolores or its formal name: Mission San Francisco de Asis. Mission Dolores is located on 16^th and Dolores Street and is also becoming a trendy hip area of restaurants and boutiques with a Latino and multi-cultural flair.

Close by the Mission is Dolores Park between 18^th and 20^th Streets. Climb to the top of the hill for a wonderful view of the city.

South of Dolores Park to 24^th Street between Mission Street and Potrero Street, you will find a wonderful variety of building murals. Just off 24^th St. head south on Balmy Alley and enjoy the street that boasts the cities largest display of colorful and unique murals painted by local artists.
