At Mezzanine in San Francisco, hip-hop acts like Mos Def and Snoop Dogg rest happily beside rock bands like Whitey, every month, a assortment of rock, dance, hip hop, soul, jazz, salsa and other world beat artists take the stage, with scattered multimedia art events, fashion displays and video and film installations. The club says it caters to acts of all kinds, from hot shows with the latest buzz bands to close engagements with well-known artists.
Why pay $0 (or $100) for the newest Radiohead album when you could pay $15 to see Digitalism, an on the rise new Electronica duo from Germany perform live this Friday? Wait; don't answer that-just get to Mezzanine.

Google has lastly opened an office San Francisco. The office was opened this past week Monday and is situated on Spear Street in the tech-heavy South of Market area.
San Francisco is important to Google as Google has many users, employees, advertisers and other publishers here, and it is as well a significant base for recruiting. Google people are happy to have an attendance in the city that would permit us to be more receptive to customer requirements and cut down commute times for many of our employees.
