President Bush and the Republican Party railed now against "San Francisco values" recently election campaign. As House Speaker-elect Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) stated, never before has a president and his party were so openly attacked one of the country's own cities.

Now, Congress is going to think about legislation, which reflects those San Francisco values, such guilty things as a living wage for everyone, health insurance for all children and the strong environmental protection programs. These are the kinds of things we need to suffer with every day here.
