SAN FRANCICSO -- A man standing on a San Francisco street early Thursday was deadly shot several times during a aggressive night in crime-ravaged Bay view District. . A spokesman for the San Francisco medical examiner said the victim has still not yet been identified.
According to police, the victim was standing on the sidewalk at West Point and the Middlepoint roads when someone came up to him, shot him several times and then ran off. The victim later died at the San Francisco General Hospital.
