Russian Hill - San Francisco
Russian Hill is home to many great restaurants and shops througout this quaint little neighborhood. Most locals of San Francisco tend to check what is going on in Russian Hill on either an entertainment or a realestate standpoint. The neighborhood got its name when gold rushers found seven Cyrillic-inscribed gravestones at the top of the hill. It was later determined that men buried there were Russian. Despite it's name the Russian influence has long dissapated.
